The Conveners

Two people, one conviction: Africa's future belongs to its young people.

Vision to Impact Foundation was founded by Dr Bridget O. Menyeh and Emmanuel Leslie Addae — and built on a single, stubborn belief.

The founding story

Every movement begins with a conviction held by a few people stubborn enough to act on it. Vision to Impact Foundation began with two.

Africa is the youngest continent on earth — and yet so much of its future is decided in rooms its young people never sit in. Dr Bridget O. Menyeh and Emmanuel Leslie Addae had each spent years working to change that, from different directions. One brought the discipline of strategy, sustainability and innovation; the other, years of convening Africa's boldest conversations and putting a microphone in front of the people the future actually belongs to. When their paths met, the idea was obvious: stop planning Africa's future for young people, and start imagining it with them.

That conviction became Vision to Impact Foundation, and its flagship platform, Africa We Want — where young Africans take the stage to imagine the continent's next fifty years, connect with the leaders shaping it, and build the skills to act.

Dr Bridget O. Menyeh works at the intersection of strategy, sustainability and innovation to advance sustainable development. As Co-Founder and CEO, she leads Vision to Impact Foundation's strategy and direction — making sure young Africans are not only heard, but equipped to act on what they imagine. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), she brings a builder's eye to a movement: turning conviction into structures, partnerships and programmes that last.

A future is only sustainable if the people who'll inherit it help design it. Our job is to hand them the pen — and then get out of the way.

Emmanuel Leslie Addae is the convener and curator behind Africa Dialogues — the pan-African platform that grew out of TEDxLabone and has brought policymakers, founders, academics and a rising generation into the same conversation about Africa's future. As Co-Founder and Co-Curator, he shapes the stage: the talks, the dialogues, and the moments where a young person's idea meets the people who can act on it.

The future isn't decided in speeches. It's decided in conversations — so we make sure young people are in the room for them.
